Why am I getting error 404 when I try to switch companies?

As per checking, we haven't received any reports about the error 404 regarding selecting other company profiles, dwatkins. I'm here to help you get past this so you can manage your other QuickBooks Online (QBO) companies.

 

The error notification you've encountered indicates network problems or user access limitations. Kindly check your network speed and set-up, and review your user rights within your company file.

 

However, if it's not about your network or access restriction, there must be excessive data build-up in your browser. It affects the system's performance, which leads to issues within its functions.

 

That said, let's access your QBO account using a private browser. It could help us verify if this is a cache-related issue. Kindly follow the keyboard shortcut keys below to proceed:

 

  • Safari: CommandOptionP
