Buy now & saveHi, Regional. Let's figure it out together.
Before we begin, please provide the specific error message you're encountering. The details will help us identify the root cause and find an appropriate solution.
In the meantime, let's troubleshoot potential browser issues affecting the system's functionality by accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window. You can use these shortcut keys to access them:
After you can log in using a private browser, switch back to your regular browser and clear the cache. You can also use another supported browser as an alternative.

Hi Michael, thank you for your response. I followed your instructions. The browser I use is Microsoft Edge on my desktop. I cleared the cookies & cache. I signed back into Quickbooks Self-Employed and it worked. However, every time I have to refresh the screen, I get logged off and have to sign back in. After signing in I receive this error message: HTTP Status 400- Bad Request.
So, do I have to clear the cache and cookies now every time I refresh the software and have to sign back in? Because that is the only way the software works now.
Thanks for sharing your concern in such detail, Regionaldent. Let’s work together to smooth things out so you can focus on your business without disruptions.
The error message you're receiving indicates a server communication problem, often caused by an outdated browser. To ensure everything works fine when utilizing QBSE, I recommend updating your Microsoft Edge to version 79 or later so you don't have to repeatedly clear the cache and cookies when logging in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers to find the one that offers you the best experience.
Moreover, it's a good idea to double-check your browser settings and extensions since features like ad blockers and privacy tools can interfere with website functions. I suggest consulting an IT professional who can provide insight into any adjustments that may help.
