Why does PayPal have so many issues? I'm getting real tired of it being down and preventing clients from paying me.. Feel QB needs to do something b4 people walk away..

Will never load transactions any more, always has connection issues, customer support is appalling, doesn't work more often than it does work..

Hi Samuel.

I know how important it is to load your PayPal transactions on time to run your financial reports and let your clients pay through PayPal. As both QuickBooks and PayPal continue developing innovative features to secure financial status, sometimes issues come between the two systems for a while.

On the other hand, PayPal may have ongoing system maintenance since I've not found recent reports in QuickBooks Online with PayPal connectivity and payments. In your case, I suggest contacting PayPal Support. From there, they can verify if there are current payment outages.

In the meantime, you can review this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online. This includes fixes for particular bank error codes.

Feel free to share with me some updates on how it goes. If you have other QuickBooks-related concern, you can place a comment below. Keep well.

If your company is located in the US, consider having a 3rd party connector for releasing invoices in QB Online with Paypal payment button.
