Buy now & saveI changed the Online Delivery option to "HTML" instead of "Online invoice" in the settings since it won't show the estimate dollar amount in the email body. But now it says "invoice" instead of "estimate" in the email body. Help!
The case you're experiencing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus, where emailing an estimate results in the body saying "Invoice 1234, is due to the email template settings within QBO. I'll walk you through how to fix this, Tam.
When you switch the Online Delivery option to "HTML," it appears that QBO defaults to using invoice terminology instead of the appropriate terminology for estimates.
To verify and edit templates, here's how:
In some cases, setting changes in the "Account and Settings" section needs reconfirmation after browser refresh. Double-check that the setting is still set to "HTML" for Online Delivery.
Moreover, here is the article you can refer to if you change or set up messages. Also, it can track your estimates and accruals for your projects: How to set up or change customer messages in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for the advice; however, the word "invoice" is shown on the Quickbooks-supplied information at the top of the email body. I have included a screenshot of the email body from the emailed estimate. The custom message shows correctly, but the words at the top should be "Estimate 1051" and "View Estimate", not "Invoice 1051" and "View Invoice". How can I change those?
To display the estimated dollar amount directly in the body of the email when you send your estimates to your customer, @Tam41, you'll need to choose the option Show full details in the email and select Online Invoice under the Online Delivery tab. It will show also the Estimate set up in customer's end instead of View Invoice when you send the email. Let me show you how:
Additionally, I included an article on how to manually convert the estimate to an invoice so you can bill your customer. For more details, please check this article: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

Sorry, I may have not explained it correctly. We do not want the dollar amount to show Wright in the body of the email, that is why I switched it to an HTML, and it does not show the dollar amount (which is what I wanted), but now it displays the word “Invoice” instead of “Estimate” as I explain previously. Is there a fix for this?
We appreciate the clarification and the effort you've made to ensure all the details in sending an Estimate are accurate, Tam41. I'll provide you with ways on how to fix this issue.
Normally, if the Online Delivery setting is set to HTML and the Email subject line is correct in the Messages section of Account and Settings, the word Estimate should appear instead of Invoice.
However, if the setup is accurate and you still see "Invoice" instead of "Estimate," let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Doing this also prevents the storage of data cache files, which can cause unusual behavior in web-based programs.
Here are some keyboard shortcuts:
After a successful attempt, clear your regular browser's cache to ensure a smooth experience moving forward. Alternatively, consider accessing your account via a different supported and up-to-date browser to enhance your experience.
Furthermore, I'm including this resource to help you personalize and add specific information to your sales forms for future reference: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
