Will I get reminders when I have to pay a bill

I'm here to help share insights about creating a reminder to pay your bills or enter expenses in QuickBooks Online.

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to get reminder notifications when it is your time to pay bills or create expenses in QuickBooks. For now, you may need to consider a reminder schedule using a calendar or any app on your desktop to get notified in real-time.

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
3. Describe how creating a reminder schedule to create bills and expenses helps your business in QuickBooks.
4. Select Next.
5. Click Skip and send message.

This is exactly why QBO is such a poor customer experience. Does not do the obvious things, in an obvious way for business users. Yet, there are 101 accounts report I can pull off that means nothing to me. Get a grip !

You can sign up for a separate Melio account for free to integrate with QBO. With Melio you can upload bills as you get them, but pay them later. This means you can spread out your payments over the whole month, so you hold onto your cash longer. And to make sure you don’t forget about the bills you haven’t paid yet, Melio will send a reminder 1 day before a bill is due, you’ll get an email.
