I'm here to help share how you can log in to your company file, @satC.
QuickBooks is able to run independently even without the MSXML but it is recommended to keep it installed to avoid errors while working with your file.
Since you've already uninstalled the program, let's run one of the QuickBooks Tool functions to get rid of the error message. This way, you can log back in and work with your company file. Let me show you how.
From here, let the tool completely run and relaunch QuickBooks. I'm adding this article to understand more how you can utilize the tool: How to use File Doctor to Fix Company File Issues in QuickBooks Desktop?

Hi,
Thank You for your swift response.
Due to security issues our security team is requesting to remove this component as a mandatory step.
This is where we hesitate , to keep or uninstall ?
Thanks,
Welcome back, @satC.
Allow me to provide some clarification about uninstalling MSXML.
Please know that MSXML 4 is required to be installed on your computer to keep QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) up and running. This way, you'll avoid errors, like being unable to log in to your QuickBooks company file.
In addition, MSXML is a windows component that can cause QBDT not to run properly when damaged. Thus, you'll want to keep it installed on your computer.
Just in case you encounter errors with MSXML, you can read this article to learn how to fix it: Repair Microsoft MSXML.

Hi Mark,
Thank You for your reply.
We are planning to download and install MSXML 6.0 m but the bits are not available.
Even the link which you share is no longer available.

Thanks
Hi there, satC.
I appreciate you for coming back to the thread to add some stuff about your issue. With this, I'll make sure you'll be routed to the right person to assist you further in downloading and installing MSXML 6.0.
Since bits are not available when downloading and installing MSXML 6.0, it might be the Microsoft is updating to the latest and newest one. That said, you can repair specific Windows components or you can contact an IT professional. That way, they are able to see the cause of why the link for MSXML 6.0 is no longer available. Then, to ensure that this will be fixed asap so you can back on track with QuickBooks Desktop.
