I need to update the credit card swipers my techs use in the field. We used to be able to get these at no charge. Because GoPayments makes thousands on us every year for the number of transactions we do.
Now they want $50 per reader.... AND $10 per reader for shipping charges.
This customer service is abysmal. We've been customers of QB CC processing for years, and this is the level of service we receive?
I hope someone can contact me directly to resolve this.
Thank you,
Let me provide you with some information about the charges, Curlsnswirls.
QuickBooks Payments charges a fee each time you process a transaction. Fees depend on how you processed the payment. I've added this table for the most up-to-date information.
There's an additional 1% fee of the total amount of the instant deposit. This is in addition to the fees for processing customer payments. Please refer to this article for more information: What Are The Fees For QuickBooks Payments.
However, if you still want to talk to one of our customer representatives, I suggest reaching out to them so they'll be able to double-check validate those charges. They have tools to pull up your account in a secure environment.
Let me also add this link that you can use for reference when matching your bank and QuickBooks balance efficiently: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Keep me in the loop if you have any questions about the charges. I'm always around to help you.
I'm not questioning the fees for processing cards. This makes sense, and is how gopayment (or intuit) makes their money.
The part that I have a problem with is paying over a thousand dollars for my team to get swipers so that Gopayment can process our cards. Gopayment makes plenty of money on processing credit cards. I feel nickel and dimed to have to pay $60 ($50 for the swipers and $10 for shipping) for each swiper. That's what I'm lookig for help with.
Folks here can't access your account so it's better to contact them through phone and ask for a manager.
I did! They swear there's no one else to talk to than the first level agents I speak with. I'm hoping someone here could help me reach a manager.
