You can use a 3rd party payment processor to integrate with QB. Are you B2B or B2C?

Accepting payment is denied , what should i do ?

Hello, Rudy 228.

Thanks for posting in the Community. Allow me to share some information about applications in QuickBooks Payments.

There are a few reasons why your application may have been denied or why you're unable to activate your online payment feature:

  • Type of products or services you sell
  • Industries that are categorized as high-risk merchants (For example Firearm sellers, vape and e-cigarette merchants, alcohol, and cigars)
  • Credit History of the QuickBooks Payments primary account owner

I recommend reviewing the Merchant Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy for a thorough explanation of our policies and general terms. Our team continuously reviews QuickBooks Payments applications to protect merchants and all involved parties' information.

Therefore, I suggest reaching out to our live support to understand why your application was declined. You can contact us Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help at the top right.
  3. Select or type Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's Talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Ask the Community to get help from businesses like yours.
    • Start a chat with a support expert.

You'll also find this article helpful in reviewing the frequently asked questions about QuickBooks Payments: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.

Once everything is settled, this article will come in handy in the future when taking your customer's payments: Receive and process payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.

I'll be around in the Community space, so you can always come back to this thread if you need more help in receiving payments. Looking forward to your responses. Take care!
