accidental void

I made an error on the amount of a check to be deposited. I wanted to void the deposit (because I couldn't figure out how to fix my mistake), but accidentally voided the invoice. Is there any way to restore the invoice and change the deposit amount?  I'm new to QB online and while most is great, my easy go-to fixes are not available.  Like finding a recent deposit to fix a mistake.  Thank you!

accidental void

Hello there, gardentender.

Welcome aboard to the QuickBooks Community. I'd be glad to help you with any question you may have concerning the voided invoice in QuickBooks Online.

Restoring an invoice to change amount is currently not available. You may need to recreate the transaction back into the system.

You can also view recent transactions like deposits through the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. I'm adding a screenshot for your reference:

In case you need the steps, here's how to create an invoice:

  1. Click the Plus sign.
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. Enter the necessary information.
  4. Click Save and close.

If you're not sure with the details from the voided invoice, you can check your Audit Log.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit Log.
  3. Search for the voided invoice.

Please let me know if you need additional help concerning the invoice. The Community is always available to lend a hand.
