Ach fees used to be $10. How do we go back to that

We appreciate your feedback regarding the ACH processing fees in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Chris.

QuickBooks Online Payments has updated its pricing, replacing the fixed $10 ACH fee with a variable rate based on transaction amounts. For existing accounts, the ACH fee cap will increase to $15. New QuickBooks Payments accounts opened on or after September 6, 2023, will follow the no-cap ACH plan.

Please see the image below for your reference.

You can also visit this website for more information on the current payment rates : Standard Payment Fees & Rates | QuickBooks Payments.

We understand that you previously had a $10 fixed fee and would prefer to return to that structure. Although the flat fee is no longer available, please remember that the new pricing prioritizes flexibility for growing businesses, including those with seven-figure sales. The cap helps ensure that payment processing costs remain reasonable, regardless of the transaction size.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or would like additional support. We’re here to help ensure QuickBooks continues to meet your business needs effectively.

Yep, 1% is unconscionable.  I can't imagine why any business would accept that.  ACH is the cheapest way to send money, and QB takes a massive cut at 1%.  Bill.com and Melio charge a flat $0.50 per transaction, regardless of the transaction amount.  I have no affiliation with either; I've just used Bill.com for many years and have been happy.
