ACH Payments

Hi, we are running latest version of QB Enterprise Desktop and trying to understand ACH payments.  We successfully sent a test payment but a couple of questions.  When payment was received by test vendor, it showed coming from Melio so that is confusing so can this be changed?  Also, is it free or is there a limit and to do more, will we need a Melio account and subscription?  Thanks

Bill Pay for QuickBooks is powered by Melio. This service is currently available for all 2022 and later versions of Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Premier Accountant, Enterprise, and Enterprise Accountant, as well as the 2023 and later versions for QuickBooks for Mac Plus.

 

The service doesn't carry any extra subscription fees. It's included as a free online offering within your current QuickBooks product.

 

For specific up-to-date information about processing fees associated with ACH transactions, I'd recommend reviewing our Pay bills online article. There you'll find detailed information about processing fees, any existing limits, and how to contact support.

 

If you're interested in using a different service for paying bills, you can consider checking our QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace for apps which may be able to help you achieve what you're looking to do.

I recommend signing up for a separate Melio account to integrate with QB. This way, any issues with bill payments will be handled directly by their support team, bypassing Intuit Support. You can also receive invoice payments from your clients via ACH for free.
