ACH's

I have been paying bills by ACH but they still show up on the A/P Aging Summary Report as not being paid.

ACH's

Hey there, LB223. Let's work together and determine why those bills still appear on the report.

The A/P Aging Summary Report provides a comprehensive view of all outstanding vendor bills. As the report shows unpaid bills, it would be beneficial to review the specific bills, as they might still require payment.

You simply return to the A/P Aging Summary report page and click on the amount to check the bill's details.

I'm sharing the following articles for additional guidance about managing vendor bills and other tasks in QBO:

ACH's

When we pay invoices with a check, it doesn't show up again on the A/P Aging Summary Report, so I don't understand why the bills we pay with ACH still show up on the report. My boss thinks I enter them wrong.

ACH's

I know a possible reason why ACH-paid bills are still appearing on the Accounts Payable (A/P) Aging Summary report, @LB223. Let me elaborate on it in detail.

Normally, if you paid the bills with ACH using QuickBooks Online (QBO), their status will automatically show as Paid and won't appear on the A/P Aging Summary report

However, if you paid the bills outside QuickBooks, you'll still need to record the payments manually. Let me walk you through the steps for a seamless process:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Expenses tab, then select Vendors.
  2. Select the vendor with the bill you'd like to pay, then select the bill.
  3. Search for the open bill and click Make payment.
  1. From the Bank/Credit account drop-down, select the bank.
  2. On the right corner, remove the check mark beside Print later.
  3. In the Ref no. field, enter something that helps you identify the form of payment (ex. ACH).
  4. Enter the necessary information.
  5. Once ready, click on Save and close.
