Automatic Recurring payments from customer credit card

I setup automatic payments for each of my customers. There CC info was already entered and the date for auto payments were set for October 1st. I see that none of the payment were done. What happened that it didn't auto hit there card. And please don't send me a video that I already seen on how to setup automatic payments. That's how I learned at first. Thx

Automatic Recurring payments from customer credit card

I'm here to help share insights about your recurring payments, @jmckinley.

There are possible reasons why a recurring credit card payment may not go through as expected. I'd be pleased to help get you pointed in the right direction so that you can process your transaction and charge your customers.

Firstly, these are the most common experiences shared by other customers who encounter the same issue as you:

  • The address has special characters
  • Invalid zip code from an international credit card
  • Certain credit cards for unique business types
  • Charging the card may require voice verification to confirm

If any of the credit card information didn't have any of the above-mentioned details, I'd recommend Contacting our QuickBooks Payments Team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and assist you in reprocessing the payments.

Finally, I've attached some articles you can use to understand more about your recurring credit card payments:

That should get you back on track. I'm just a post away if you have any other questions about recurring credit card payments. I'll be here to help you out. Take care and stay safe!

All the information for the customer was correct. I called into your support. Seems that for automatic transactions. You need it to be a sales receipt to auto charged the card.
