Last year a I got to try this weak service, first costumer paid with a CC around 4k, second customer over 15k and third over 20k. Then I got red flagged and they hold my money for more than 5 days without notification, then I realized and started calling the poor trained costumer service, after a week going back and forth with documentation that they asked for, they told me that the money will be deposited 30 days after, that was more than 30k on hold for more than 45 days and that would hurt my business for sure, but then I got a suggestion from the "expert" that I was talking to on the phone, she suggested to reverse the payment and ask my clients to write me a physical check, I was guided step by step to reverse the payments and to voided from my QB. after I was done, I got a notification on my phone that I was charged for a little over 2k from QB, I was like WTH and I checked my email and it was an invoice from QB for the transition that I just made, I ask the lady on the phone what was that? and she just said " oh im sorry but yes, there is a fee for that" Ha! that was the cleanest way to burn more than 2k!! I requested to talk with her supervisor and it was a worthless try to get my money back.
We are at the end of January and they haven't close that case as today, I had to uses this weak service again after one of my clients was trying to pay his bill for 5k back in Jan 18th and still on hold. I've been calling for 10 days in a row asking for help and Ive been on a loop over and over with the poor Customer service. They had escalated my case for more than 5 days in a row and every time they told me that I should get some of the experts to call me in the next 24hrs. and yes, no call, no email, nothing! They still holding my money and im still waiting for help.
Its ridiculous that I have to beg them for my own money so be aware with this service!
You should use a 3rd party merchant services to integrate with your QBO until your issue with QB Payments is resolved.
Hey @Antonio Tamayo
Sorry you're having that experience with Intuit Merchant Services. You're not alone, it's one of the major reasons businesses outgrow Quickbooks payments eventually. I can't help with your past payments, but I'd like to offer some information that may help you avoid this issue in the future.
Intuit is a Payment Facilitator built upon First Data merchant services, as a sub-merchant you are subject to their frustrating funding delays and holds.
If you're looking at alternatives to QB Payments a couple methods are 1. Melio (Stripe Reseller) and 2. Going directly to First Data.
Best of luck!
