Join nowHi there! I'm trying to have one location where I can see all of our upcoming bills (such as to pay our Google Email Invoice). I don't want to use Quickbooks to make bill payments but essentially to have a calendar to know what's due when and then match it with payments.
Is there any app that can do something like this? Support told me this isn't possible with bill payment.
Thanks in advance!
I can recommend a free billing management app to sync with QBO. You can use it for any business utility payments like:
Phone
Wifi
Water
Gas
Electricity
Heating
Cooling
Waste disposal
Sewage
You can ask your billers to send their invoices directly to the app mailbox and it will sync with QBO. You just need to track your outstanding bills and schedule payments. The problem is, some community members don't like me sharing this free app because it competes directly with QB Bill Pay. Click my profile name and you will find our website address to send a direct email if you're interested in exploring it.
Let me share some insights about the calendar for upcoming bills in QuickBooks Online (QBO), ebab4138.
The option to set up a calendar for the upcoming bills and to know the bill's due and when to match it with payments is unavailable in QBO. You'll want to check for a third-party application that can help you with tracking your bill. Check out this link for a list of QuickBooks-compatible apps: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/. We can also do it in QBO by following the steps below:
Any questions about integrating the app into your Online account should be directed to the app's third-party provider. On the other hand, we can utilize the reminder template to get an alert in QBO when the transaction is due when creating a bill. This feature gives you the option to set the date days before the transaction date and its interval. Here's how to set this up:
You can also check this article to learn more about the templates for recurring transactions. Moreover, I've included some articles to help you understand how the bill works in QuickBooks Online. This way, you’ll be able to handle your bills wisely:
Keep me posted below if you have additional concerns about tracking bills and managing expense transactions. I’ll be around to get this taken care of for you. Have a great weekend ahead.
