Can you link an APPLE CREDIT CARD to QBO?

Hello there, @jpstecchino. Let's go to the Banking menu's Connect an account page to verify if you can link an Apple credit card to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. I'm here to show you how.

Online banking is one of the time-saving features in QBO. Once your bank and credit card accounts are connected, transactions will automatically download and categorize.

You can link your Apple credit card to QBO when they're a participating financial institution. To check, I encourage you to visit the Connect an account page and search using their website's URL. This will ensure that you're using the correct listing and that you'll be connecting to the right account. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, then Transactions and select Bank transactions, or go to Banking.
  2. If this is the first bank account you’ve set up, select Connect account. Or select Link account if you already created one.
  3. In the Connect an account page's search field, enter the name for your credit card, or preferably your Apple credit card's URL.  80.PNG
  4. Hit the Enter key.
  5. When your Apple credit card appears on the list, select it and follow the on-screen steps to connect your credit card account.

If you're having issues finding or connecting your Apple credit card account, it may be because of the following reasons:

  • Apple credit card has multiple names on our list.
  • Apple credit card does not connect to all types of accounts.
  • Applet credit card is not a participating financial institution.

Then, you can try other listed versions of your Apple credit card. This is because sometimes a financial institution might have different types of accounts but choose only to release one website for connection to QBO.

If you have tried all the options above but are still unable to connect or your Apple credit card doesn’t appear on the list, you can request support for it in QBO (please see Step 3 in the given article).

Once you still want to add your Apple credit card transactions in QBO, you may opt to manually upload them. For the detailed steps, you can refer to this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Also, I encourage you to reconcile your accounts every month. This effectively monitors your income and expense transactions, detects any possible errors, and makes sure they match your statements. To learn more about this, you can check out this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how it goes in the comments below. If there's anything else you need or concerns about linking accounts and managing transactions in QBO, I'm always ready to help. Take care, and have a great day, @jpstecchino.
