Quickbooks Desktop for Mac 2022
Forced to spend $300 to upgrade once again because once again Intuit disables online banking functionality in QB DT 2019 just as they did in previous versions to force customers to pay more and upgrade, despite their not wanting or needing to.
I go to print an invoice, the SIMPLEST OPERATION IN THE HISTORY OF PERSONAL COMPUTING. Rather than printing, like previous QB versions have always done, or any software ever, for that matter, a login to Intuit appears and then a dialogue telling me I need to sign up for Quickbooks Payments service.
WHAT? WHY? To.... PRINT AN INVOICE??
I paid $300 for a desktop product because I will not process my financial information through some third party company's proprietary database, and nor should anyone with a brain in their head. I bought the desktop app specifically to AVOID dealing with Intuit logins and online nonsense. Are you telling me I cannot even PRINT AN INVOICE at home, unless I sign up for some additional subscription payment service that I do not need or want? I must be able to print an invoice from a $300 desktop app, otherwise this product is a completely useless fraudeulent scam and Intuit needs to be investigated.
To reiterate the question of this post: Is it possible to just PRINT AN INVOICE in QB Desktop for Mac 2022 without loging in to intuit or signing up for a service?
The direction that Intuit is taking to force their customers onto an online platform storing their private financial information on their own proprietary server is deeply concerning at best and dangerously irresponsible and potentially criminal at worst. In an age where data breaches are happening every day, every thoughtful intelligent responsible person knows that the dumbest thing you can do is store personal important data online, especially with an unscrupulous greedy company who can then store, catalog, sell, and do whatever they want with that information. Every decision intuit has made in the last five years has been atrociously onerous to the customer and benefits only themselves.
