change splits in AR to sales.

So most of my invoices show up in AR as split vs sales, how do I change them to sales.  All invoices are individual?

Thanks for getting in touch with the Community, gmarkh.

When an invoice is created, it will appear on your All Sales screen, and also in your Accounts Receivable account. Once invoices are paid, their payments will show up on the All Sales screen and in your Accounts Receivable account.

If you could send a screenshot of an invoice you're referring to, with its line items, paid status, and other details visible, as well as a screenshot of what you're seeing in your Accounts Receivable account, that would help me to better understand what you're working with.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with the Accounts Receivable account which may come in handy moving forward: What are accounts receivable?

I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you. Have a great day!

Every entry in QB is based on double-entry accounting, meaning that every entry is hitting two accounts.  In this case, the invoice is hitting both A/R and sales.  That's normal for an invoice.  It means that your $1,000 invoice, for example, has been recorded as an increase in sales of $1,000 and an increase in A/R of $1,000.  That's proper double-entry accounting and you can't change it to just sales.
