It is not a case of reaching my monthly limit of payments as I am able to pay other vendors in amounts greater than the amount of the vendor for which I am getting the error message. Just wondering if anyone else has been having this issue.
Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. Did you encounter the same error message?

The error message We can't schedule your payment at this time can occur due to issues with the vendor's details or payment information in QuickBooks. These issues include an incorrect address, a mismatch in the payment method, or missing bank details when using ACH payments.
With that, please verify the vendor’s payment information and ensure the specified payment method is valid, current, and has no issues on your end.
Since this isn't about reaching my monthly payment limit, we suggest accessing your QuickBooks Online account using a different QBO-supported browser. Cached data and cookies stored by browsers can sometimes cause issues, such as prompt error messages, unresponsive buttons, or loading pages.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online live support team for further assistance. They can review the payment history and troubleshoot why this particular vendor is causing the error.
