Email notifications

Ever since I can remember, I have been receiving email notifications about my customers' monthly recurring charges early in the morning. For the last week or so, these notifications have been coming in around 11:00 a.m. Eastern time. How can I get this set back to an earlier hour? Thank you.

Hey @nhm7777,

You can edit the schedule in your Merchant account. I'd love to guide you how.

There are two ways on how you can edit your recurring charge. First is through your Merchant Services account. You can log in to your account in the Merchant Services Center.

Second is through your QuickBooks account. Here's how:

  1. Click on Customers from the menu bar.
  2. Select Credit Card Processing Activities.
  3. Select Set Up Recurring Payments.

Don't hesitate to let me know if you have other questions about recurring transactions. I'll be here to assist you.

Thank you, but this is not about emails my customers receive. This is about the daily summary of charges for recurring payments that I receive. I need those emails to come much earlier in the day like they used to up until about a week ago.

Thank you for getting back to me and for providing me with additional details, @nhm7777.

Currently, the option to edit recurring charge notification time is unavailable. Let me route you to the best support available for you.

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Merchant Services so they can check on why the time changed when receiving emails about recurring payments from your customers. They can also help you further with your merchant account.

You may read this article for more information: Recurring Payments.
