How can I connect the apple credit card account ?

I recently got an Apple Credit Card. Now realizing that I do not know how to connect it to QB and I would have to introduce all transactions in cash manually. Any Idea how I can avoid this?

How can I connect the apple credit card account ?

I've got the information to share about connecting Apple Card into QuickBooks Self-Employed, katharina-doehle.

The option to connect the Apple Credit Card is currently unavailable in QBSE.

What you can do for now is import your transactions via a CSV file. I'll guide how to accomplish the tasks:

  1. Go to the Transactions tab, and click the arrow icon beside Connect account.
  2. Choose Import transactions.
  3. Click the Import older transactions button under Action.
  4. Browse for the CSV file you've downloaded from Apple Card.
  5. Tap Continue

You can find more info about the process in this article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

After importing them, you can start categorizing your transactions for your estimated taxes.

I'll lend a hand again if you have other related concerns with QBSE. Enjoy the rest of the day.

How can I connect the apple credit card account ?

Thank you … it worked… almost perfect. Unfortunately what is an expense in Apple credit card imported as income in QB and the credit card payment as an expense. How can I delete them or modify the entry?

thank you

Thank you.  It almost worked perfect… almost. When I imported the card, it converted the expenses in income and the credit card payment as cost. Should be the other way around. How can I change it or delete them so I can reimport the information?

thank you in advance

Thanks for getting back to us, @katharina-doehle.

I'm glad that the steps given by my colleague GlinetteC help you import your data into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Allow me to join in this conversation and provide you with further assistance in handling your bank transactions.

The option to change your imported transactions is unavailable. However, you can delete them inside the program and reimport them properly. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Find the transaction you want to exclude and select it to expand the view.
  3. Click the Exclude this transaction checkbox.
  4. Select Save.

Once done, you can reimport them again in QBSE. Here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Imports.
  3. Click Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  4. Select Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. It's usually in your Downloads folder.
  5. Click the file and select Open to start the import.
  6. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the CSV's date, Description, and Amount columns match the columns and order in QuickBooks.
  7. Select Continue to complete the import.

When it's finished, your older transactions will be in QuickBooks. You can now review and categorize them to put them in your accounts.

Please let me know if you need further help in adding bank transactions into QBSE. I'd be glad to assist you further. Have a good one.
