You can access your QuickBooks Checking funds by transferring them to a connected external bank account, raerae.
Here's how to link to a bank account:
- Select Transfer, then click Transfer money.
- Hit Add bank, then enter your bank name and select your account type.
- Enter your account number and account number.
- When ready, click Next.
QuickBooks will send two small deposits to your external bank account within 3 business days. Once you see these deposits, return to QuickBooks to verify them:
- Go to Lending & banking, then QuickBooks Checking.
- Click Verify bank. Some banks might not require this step, and you can just select Add to connect directly.
- Enter the two amounts deposited by QuickBooks. The order doesn't matter. Select Confirm.
Now that your bank account is connected, you can transfer money from your QuickBooks Checking account. Here's how:
- Select Transfer, then select Transfer money.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer.
- In the From dropdown, select your QuickBooks Checking account.
- In the To dropdown, choose your connected bank account.
- Select Next, then click Finish transfer.
To transfer your money out of your QuickBooks Checking account, it takes between 3-5 business days. If eligible, you might have the option to use instant transfer for a 1.5% fee. Fund transfers using instant transfer are typically available within 30 minutes.
