How do i enable barcode scanning for products and services?

At this time, QuickBooks Online doesn't offer a native barcode scanning feature. One option that you may wish to consider is using a third-party application, which can integrate with the software. You can browse available apps at the following link: QuickBooks Apps.

I can see how having the ability to natively enable barcode scanning in the software would be beneficial for your company and others. I'm going to submit feedback, which is sent to the Product Development Team for consideration when adding new features. Can you suggest an app to use in order to use the barcode scanner with QuickBooks online?

We're unable to suggest what app to use. You can browse available apps here: QuickBooks Apps. These are apps that integrates with QuickBooks Online.

You can also click Apps on the left pane in QBO. Then, type barcode scanner on the search box.
