I'm here to help you locate the money in the In QuickBooks section, coco.
Beforehand, can you share a screenshot of the page? It'll help me determine the exact cause of the issue.
The money posted in the In QuickBooks part is an ending balance of your account manually added to the program. We can go to the Register to view the amount temporarily. For visual reference, I've added a screenshot below.
Normally, the information you need should be displayed on the Dashboards menu. Since they're missing, I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via an incognito window. It doesn't store any browser history and cache data, which is the best place to determine if this is a cache-related issue.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
Once logged in, go to Dashboards, and on the Get things done tab, view the details under Bank Accounts. You can also click Business Overview to access the info. Check out the snippet below for guidance.
If the money shows, clear the browser's cache. Doing so improves system performance, fixes program problems, and frees storage space. Using other supported browsers also helps us verify if this is a browser-specific problem.
Additionally, I've added this article to help you manage and customize the job centers like invoicing, banking, employee management, and more in QBO to ensure it meets your workflows and habits: Understand the navigation menu in QuickBooks Online.
Would you like some assistance in managing other QuickBooks menus? Or do you need to work on banking, vendor transactions, reports, and sales entries? Let me know, and I'll guide you through the process.
Yes I can share a screen shot. Thanks for helping. I’ve been trying to track frown fraudulent transfers from multiple banks for over 3 years. And now I’ve found this account, I just don’t know much about it. Except the fact that it was my money..I’ll sign in and then post pic. Is it safe to post pic here? That seems a little risky..
I’m not sure if the ois has uploaded or not. Can’t see it..
And I’ll take all the help I can get. I’m a contractor not an accountant. I’m just trying to clean up a mess that an un authorized person created.. and hopefully it’s not too late to retrieve what was taken..
thanks again

Hello Charlene,
Thank you for checking in. Well after some reconciling, the number I was referring to has almost tripled.. I’m not really sure what to do or what that means.. the bank balance is much much lower than quickbooks balance..
Also, I’m curious why when I have several fraud cases open with quickbooks also with separate case numbers, why none of them show in resolution section. It states I have no open cases…??
Thanks for coming back to this thread, cocoasrider. I'm here to help and share information regarding your concerns in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The Bank Balance under your account in your Chart of accounts is the actual balance from the last bank feed update. Meanwhile, the QuickBooks Balance is the total sum of all your bank transactions, regardless of whether they have been added or matched from your bank feeds in QBO.
Additionally, there are several factors why the balances for both Bank Balance and QuickBooks Balance do not match with each other, including:
Depending on the situations mentioned above, you might consider resolving the differences to balance them out. To guide you with this, kindly check this article: Fix the difference between QuickBooks Balance and Bank Balance.
On the other hand, I recommend contacting our Support Team to help you regarding your fraud cases with separate case numbers. They're well-equipped to assist you further and provide essential information about your cases.
