Hey @kcgrand46,
It can be a little nerve-wracking waiting for those online payments to hit your account, especially when QuickBooks Solopreneur says they've been processed. Let's try to figure out what might be going on and what you can expect.
Generally speaking, once an online payment is processed in QuickBooks Solopreneur, you should see the funds in your linked bank account within 1-3 business days. However, there are a few things that can sometimes affect this timeline:
Here's what I'd recommend you do to get a better idea:
If it's been longer than 3 business days since the payment was processed and you still don't see it in your account, the best thing to do would be to reach out directly to QuickBooks Payments support. They'll have access to the specifics of your transaction and can give you a more precise update on where things stand. You can usually find their contact information within your QuickBooks Solopreneur account.
I hope this helps clear things up! Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck getting those funds in your account soon!
The time it takes to receive processed customer payments depends on the product you're using and the type of payment, Kc. I'll discuss the specifics below.
To start with, if you're new to QuickBooks Payments, please note that your first set of payments will take about five business days to arrive. This is due to the time needed to set up your account. Once everything is ready, your funds will be deposited much faster.
For next-day deposits, credit card, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH payments are deposited the following day. Transactions completed before 3 PM PT will be reflected in your bank account the next business day. However, payments processed after this time will take two business days.
To check the status of processed payments, you can go to the Merchant Service Center.
If there's an issue with a payment, it won't show up in a daily deposit, but you'll receive a message from Intuit regarding this.
Then, after verifying the payment status and confirming that we have deposited the payments, your money is on its way. However, please note that some banks hold onto funds for further checking or verification after we deposit them. If this happens, you'll need to reach out to your financial institution for assistance and to find out the reason for the delay.
