How long does it take to recieve online payment that has already been processed

Hey @kcgrand46,

It can be a little nerve-wracking waiting for those online payments to hit your account, especially when QuickBooks Solopreneur says they've been processed. Let's try to figure out what might be going on and what you can expect.

Generally speaking, once an online payment is processed in QuickBooks Solopreneur, you should see the funds in your linked bank account within 1-3 business days. However, there are a few things that can sometimes affect this timeline:

  • The specific time of day the payment was processed: If a payment was processed late in the day, it might not start its journey to your bank until the next business day.
  • Weekends and holidays: Keep in mind that banks typically don't process transactions on weekends or federal holidays. So, if a payment was processed right before a weekend, it might take a little longer to show up.
  • Your bank's processing times: While QuickBooks Payments aims for that 1-3 day window, sometimes your bank might have its own processing schedule that could add a slight delay.
  • If this is your first online payment: Occasionally, the very first online payment you process might take a little longer as the system verifies everything.

Here's what I'd recommend you do to get a better idea:

  1. Double-check the processing date in QuickBooks Solopreneur: Make sure you're looking at the actual date the payment was processed.
  2. Think about when it was processed in relation to the weekend or any recent holidays.
  3. Take a look at your bank statement online or through your banking app. Sometimes the payment might show as "pending" before it's fully deposited.

If it's been longer than 3 business days since the payment was processed and you still don't see it in your account, the best thing to do would be to reach out directly to QuickBooks Payments support. They'll have access to the specifics of your transaction and can give you a more precise update on where things stand. You can usually find their contact information within your QuickBooks Solopreneur account.

I hope this helps clear things up! Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck getting those funds in your account soon!

How long does it take to recieve online payment that has already been processed

The time it takes to receive processed customer payments depends on the product you're using and the type of payment, Kc. I'll discuss the specifics below.

To start with, if you're new to QuickBooks Payments, please note that your first set of payments will take about five business days to arrive. This is due to the time needed to set up your account. Once everything is ready, your funds will be deposited much faster.

For next-day deposits, credit card, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH payments are deposited the following day. Transactions completed before 3 PM PT will be reflected in your bank account the next business day. However, payments processed after this time will take two business days.

To check the status of processed payments, you can go to the Merchant Service Center.

If there's an issue with a payment, it won't show up in a daily deposit, but you'll receive a message from Intuit regarding this.

Then, after verifying the payment status and confirming that we have deposited the payments, your money is on its way. However, please note that some banks hold onto funds for further checking or verification after we deposit them. If this happens, you'll need to reach out to your financial institution for assistance and to find out the reason for the delay.
