How to instant deposits work

The instant deposits allow you to transfer customer payments directly to your bank account in less than 30 minutes, Oasisclean. To use this feature, you need to have an active QuickBooks Payments account and link an eligible Visa or Mastercard debit card or bank account.

Before we proceed with the setup, it’s important to confirm your eligibility for Instant Deposits. To check, please follow these steps:

1. In QuickBooks, navigate to the Sales menu and select the Deposits tab.
2. Click Get started (this option will only appear if you are eligible).
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your debit card or bank account information.
4. Once you receive the confirmation code, enter it to verify your account.

Once you have completed the eligibility verification and setup, you can request a one-time instant deposit at any time. To ensure you receive your funds on the same day, please make your requests before 3:00 PM PT. Any requests made after 3:00 PM PT will be processed the following day.

To request an instant deposit, follow these steps:

1. In the Instant Deposit section, select Get it now.
2. Review the total amount and the associated fees.
3. Click Get it now.

Once your request is processed, you’ll find the money in your bank account within minutes—though it may take up to 30 minutes depending on your bank’s processing speeds. You will also receive an email confirmation once the deposit has been successfully completed.

You can also set up automatic or scheduled instant deposits for specific days of the week. However, please note that you cannot schedule instant deposits for customer payments received between 2:15 and 3:15 PM PT, as these transactions will be processed at the normal speed. If you require an instant deposit for payments received during this time frame, you must manually request it before 3:00 PM PT.

To set your deposit schedule:

1. Go to the Gear icon and then tick Account and Settings.
2. Pick the Payments tab.
3. In the Deposit Speed section, select the Set a schedule for instant deposits.
4. Choose the days you would like to have instant deposits.
5. Click Save schedule.

In addition to other features available to you, you can also easily find detailed information related to your transactions, as well as deposits and various fees associated with your account, within the Merchant Service Center.
