I can't connect my Kabbage checking account, which is managed under American Express now. I have tried to connect via all the Amex links and does not work.

There is no option for Kabbage in Quickbooks, I have tried entering my logins under all of the American Express option and it doesn't work. Thanks

I appreciate your efforts trying to link your Kabbage checking account to QuickBooks, sparkvht.

I can provide some insight into this online banking setup matter. You may encounter an issue connecting your bank if:

  • Your bank has multiple names on our list.
  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts.
  • It's not a participating financial institution.

If you cannot see the bank you wish to connect with after entering the bank's name or URL, likely, Intuit does not yet support it. Given this information, I'd suggest seeking a bank request from our engineers. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select Connect account.
  2. Type your financial institution link in the box and click the Still can't find your bank?
  3. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided and click Request.

Alternatively, you can manually upload transactions downloaded from your bank's website to QuickBooks Online. This way, you can still categorize the transactions.

 Go as follows:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select Upload transactions.
  2. Select Browse and choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into in the QuickBooks account ▼  dropdown and hit Next.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

For the complete steps, check out this link: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

In case you'll encounter error messages during the process, refer to this article for the detailed steps to fix them: Fix bank upload errors in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I've got you this article to help to reconcile your bank transactions and fix some banking errors in QBO:

Please let me know if you have additional questions about banking or anything else. I'll be happy to answer them. Stay safe.

I can't connect my Kabbage checking account, which is managed under American Express now. I have tried to connect via all the Amex links and does not work.

No none of this resolved my problem. This is the url I use to login: https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/account/oauth/

I would think I would be able to connect since Kabbage is now owned and under Amex. Any other suggestions? I have done everything else you suggested. Thanks
Sean

Hello there, @sparkvht. I'll point you in the right direction to get this sorted out and have your Checking account connected to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before anything else, know that I appreciate you for performing the steps provided by the previous representative above. I can see that you're still unable to link the Checking account to your QBO company. I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. This way, they can set it up for you and have all your bank transactions available inside your company. To get you going, these are the steps:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
  • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.

For more information about the support hours, see this page: QuickBooks Online Support.

In addition, here's an article to help you handle issues after reconciling an account in QBO: Fix issues at the end of a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks for dropping by, @sparkvht. Feel free to leave a comment below if you need further assistance linking your Checking account to QuickBooks. I'll be here, ready to assist you. Take care!
