Hello, Reno. I’m glad to assist you with your question about QuickBooks Payments and deposit timings.

Deposit speeds vary based on the product and payment type:

  • Standard Deposits: We process deposits daily, excluding Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. During your account setup, you can expect your initial batch of payments to be deposited within five business days. After that, the process will be much faster.
  • Instant Deposits: Available every day without exception.

For most transactions, including credit card, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH payments, if you process payments before 3 PM PT, they’ll be deposited the next business day. If processed after 3 PM PT, there will be a 2-business-day deposit delay.

If you're new to QuickBooks Payments, our ACH payments may take a bit longer initially, but we’ll notify you via email as soon as everything is set up.

To check your deposit speed:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Payments tab and review the Deposit Speed section.

To view your deposit status:

  1. Log into QBO.
  2. Navigate to Sales, then choose Deposits.
  3. Select the bank deposit you’d like to review.
