Let me help and provide information about running a report for the group items in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Currently, we are unable to generate a report for grouped items. However, you can manually export any inventory report to Excel and modify it to get the necessary information.
Here's how:
- Go to Reports and then select Inventory.
- Select the report you want to run.
- Click the Excel drop-down located at the top, and select Create New Worksheet.
- In the Send Report to Excel window, choose in new workbook under Create New Worksheet.
- Hit Export.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
