Join nowHi drdogfish,
We can do some steps to check why your AMEX Card account is not syncing.
By the way, you haven't mentioned if you received an error code or not. If you do, please let me know in the comment below. If there's no error, please follow the steps in this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online?
Let me know how the steps work for you. I'm just around to help you further.
No error messages at all. I wish there had been. I have had no idea this was happening! It occurred to me today that I had not yet seen a cluster of Amex charges from ten days ago come across my QBO page for categorization. So I downloaded all my Amex charges for the entire month of May from the Amex site and cross check them against the QBO Amex register. Very surprised to find that about a third of my May Amex charges had not synced with QBO. No particular period, no particular vendor. Missing charges extended all the way back to the beginning of May. Not just the small cluster I had thought of this morning. This is very disturbing as I have relied heavily on the dependability of this synchronization process. What should I do next?
Hello there, @drdogfish.

Hi,
I'm still not getting all my American Express charges downloading to QB, What can I do to correct it?
I have already done the update and still missing charges.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, @magbci.
I’ve checked my resources here and found that there is already an ongoing investigation about the missing transactions from the American Express Card in QuickBooks Online.
This means our engineers are working diligently to get this sorted out and resolved as soon as possible. Since they are working on this internally, please know that we cannot provide a turnaround time regarding their efforts.
In the meantime, you can contact our Technical Support Team. This way, you can be added to the list of affected users and receive updates via email once a fix is available. You can inform them to add you to the list affected by INV-70756:
Additionally, refer to this article for other options when contacting them. You can also scroll down to the bottom to see their support schedule and hours: QuickBooks Online Support.
We appreciate your patience while we’re working on this one. Stay safe!
Any update to this?
Are the engineers still working diligently to sort it out as soon as possible?
THIS IS NOT WORKING AND HASN'T WORKED FOR A MONTH.
Diligent my butt. As shown by no further responses from QB/Intuit.
NOT ACCEPTABLE!
I'll share with you some information about the investigation, krugsm.
For now, the status appears to be in progress. However, this has been raised to the banking engineers to understand why this unexpected behavior is happening.
At the moment, we can't provide a definite time frame as to when will the issue be fixed. For now, I recommend checking your email to get an update as soon as the issue is resolved.
Thank you for your understanding as we work on this matter. Please take care and stay safe!
