Is there a way to import my created invoices from quickbooks online to quickbooks self employed?

I originally had self employed and then upgraded to quickbooks online where I created several invoices for my customers. I am now switching back to self employed and want to import the invoices to self employed. What's the easiest way to do this?

Let's tackle your switching back from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE), Shiloh.

It’s crucial to understand that once you’ve migrated from QBSE to QBO, there isn’t a direct method to switch back to QBSE. Should you require functionality similar to QBSE again, you need to set up a new QBSE account and input your data from scratch.

However, since QBSE has been discontinued, I recommend considering QuickBooks Solopreneur as an alternative, which might cater to your needs just as well.

Using this method, you can successfully transfer your data from QBO to QuickBooks Solopreneurs.

Please follow the steps to import:

  1. Open QuickBooks Solopreneur
  2. Navigate to the Settings or the Gear icon.
  3. Select Import Data from the tools menu. The options available can vary based on the QuickBooks version (Online, Desktop)
