LOCKING MY ACCOUNT AND HOLDING PAYMENTS FOR DAYS? IS THIS WHO THIS COMPANY IS?

I just switched over to Quickbooks I was using paypal for my payment processing we generally are processing 35-50 k per month, and I was tired of the constant paypal locking down the account for a day or so but none the less, it gets frustrating. So I heard good things about Quickbooks, so I decided since quickbooks has the accounting system behind it, that we should give it a shot. Just so I could test out the workflow the first transaction i did was processed on my card. I input that it was mine and everything else, and they stopped the payment of 5 whole dollars and have been harassing me with request after request after request for more information, first it was " we need the invoice for this transaction" i told them "Its my card I can make an invoice but i'd be happy to send you a copy of the bank account statement or the card itself" that wasn't enough, then (mind you this entire time they have not allowed funding to happen at all) so were on day four, and everyday there is a new request for information, i've spent a good hour on just trrying to provide these guys with the "proof" they need to fund a five dollar transaction placed on MY DEBIT CARD. I sent them a copy of my drivers license as they requested, then suddenly as if what i have submitted already wasnt enough, they lie and say that the last request didn't include all the details they ask for so they request "the same thing they asked for last time" "AGAIN" they state. But this time they're asking for a copy of my drivers license and a photo of me holding it so they can see my id and me. THEY NEVER ASKED FOR THAT LAST TIME! I'm appauled that they've stopped funding on my account for five days tomorrow over a 5 dollar transaction that i've submitted evidence for day after day. WHY CANT THIS ALL HAPPEN AT ONCE:? Is this how the relationship with this company is going to be? Because this is beyond ridiculous.

LOCKING MY ACCOUNT AND HOLDING PAYMENTS FOR DAYS? IS THIS WHO THIS COMPANY IS?

Please know that this isn't the experience we want you to have, @jk64811. I can share information about the delay in processing payments with QuickBooks Payments.

For new users in QuickBooks Payments, deposits may take longer as we set up your account. QuickBooks will not be able to release any funds on hold until our review is complete. The requests from our team are necessary since these are needed to verify your account. The additional information asked is also required to complete the validation.

To check the status of the payments, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. If you see Withheld in the Method column, the payments are on hold while we review them.
  3. If there's a problem with payments, QuickBooks will promptly email you.
  4. Read each email carefully. If QuickBooks requests for some documents for verification, please comply.
  5. Make sure to follow the steps in the email as soon as possible.

Once your QuickBooks Payments is fully verified, QuickBooks won't ask this anymore, and we'll deposit customer payments much faster.

I've also attached these articles for more information about funds that are on hold:

After depositing the funds into your account, this article can guide you on recording it in QuickBooks Online (QBO): Deposit payments into the Undeposited Funds account in QBO.

We're always here to assist if you need further help with funds on hold or other QuickBooks concerns. Take care always.
