I am having problems posting received payments to invoices. Also when I have tried to edit invoices I cannot seem to get to the invoice, the connection circle just keeps going around and around and around.

Hello there, @Metalraider. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can edit invoices and post received payment transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
For the time being, there aren't any reported issues when posting received payments and editing invoices in QBO. Based on your description, you seem to have corrupted or damaged webpage data. This is sometimes caused by the browser's data collection over time from frequent page visits.
To fix this, you'll want to pull up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
Once signed in, go ahead and receive or record invoice payments and then review or edit some of them in your account.
If you can perform your tasks accordingly, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages in case you need a reference in managing your company's income and customer transactions using QBO: Sales and Customers help for QuickBooks Online. It includes topics about customizing sales forms, monitoring payments, and crediting customers, to name a few.
Please keep me posted on how it goes in the comments below. If you have other concerns about receiving payments and managing invoices in QBO, I'm always here to help. Take care, and have a great day, @Metalraider.
