We use quick books desktop bill pay, we had a scheduled payment and the money was taken from the bank on the selected date. We were later informed by our vender that they had never recieved payment. When calling customer support to look into where the money has gone and the correct course of action to get the money refunded I have been given numerous different phone numbers. Non of which have been any help or had any solutions. We were informend that the service for bill pay is a 3rd party melio ? Looked into this but was not able to locate and sort of customer support.
Wondering if anyone else in the community has delt with a similar issue and what their solutions were?
I hear you out Lugnuts, and thank you for detailing your concern. I'm here to help.
Melio processes the payments made through Bill Pay on QuickBooks' behalf. First, Melio collects the funds from your bank account or card. Then, Melio's bank sends the payment amount out to your vendor for delivery. For payments sent via Paper Check, Melio's bank prints and sends the check out in the mail.
To better address your concern about the unreceived vendor payment, let me route you to the Melio contact support team. You can reach them out through support@qbdtusers.melio.com, or you can send them a chat message. Here’s how:

As always, you're welcome in the QuickBooks Community should you have further updates about contacting Melio support. Take care.
Melio sends payment to any account some jackwagon at the vendor chooses after being offered "faster payments" with their paper check. Guess what happens if the person reading that offer is less than honest. You got it, your money is gone, and melio will run you around forever claiming one thing after another somehow trying to put the blame on you. What a joke.
Melio offers recipients of your paper check to provide routing and account numbers to "get paid quicker". Guess what happens if someone at your recipient vendor is less than honest, and decides to give melio a routing and account number other than the intended recipient. That's right, your money is gone, and melio will give you the longest most ridiculous run around and somehow try to put the blame on you. One redeeming factor? Rumor has it direct from Melio that their association with Intuit will soon end. None too soon, as Intuit should be ashamed to have ever been associated with Melio.
