Quickbooks Payments got turned on without us turning it on. How do we turn it off

This is a semi-governmental agency and it requires a board to make a decision whether to use merchant services or not. I don't know why Intuit turned it on without consent.

Quickbooks Payments got turned on without us turning it on. How do we turn it off

Intuit doesn't create a Payments account on its own, shadowbrisas. Another user may have subscribed to it.

 

To cancel the subscription, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center as an admin user.
  2. Select the Account dropdown, then click Account Profile.
  3. Hit Close Account at the bottom of the page. If you don't see this option, reach out to our Payments Live Support team.
  4. In the Reason for closing dropdown, select a reason,  and add any comments you'd like to share.
  5. When you're ready, select Submit.

 

It takes a business day, then you'll receive an email confirmation of this cancelation.
