Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out in the QuickBooks Community.
To provide you with the most up-to-date information on QuickBooks Payments rates, I would like to direct you to our Payments Rates page. This page outlines all of the fees associated with our Payments service, including ACH fees.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Best regards
I received old information. My fee went from $10 to $15 this past October. Is RaymondO a real person or not?
Thanks for getting back to the thread, Mike. I'll chime in and share my thoughts regarding this matter.
RaymonO is one of my colleagues. Upon checking my resources, the same as what my colleague stated above, the processing fees for ACH payments are one percent of the transaction amount, with a maximum charge of $10 per transaction. Since your fee went from $10 to $15 this past October, it is best to connect with our QuickBooks Payments Support to help you review your account.
Here's how:
You can contact us from Mondays to Fridays, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

If you are running B2B, you can use a 3rd party processor to accept ACH payments for free.
It appears as though there is now no cap to ACH payment fees.
I had a deposit for a project of $28,000 and was charged $280 to use QuickBooks payment processing.
That is absurd.
Was it a B2B transaction? You can use a free 3rd party billing management app to accept ACH for free.
Did you have a Quickbooks Payments account before September 2023?
I read that anyone who opened a Payments account after 2023 was just going to be at 1% with no maximum, but that anyone who had one before that would have a maximum of $15 per transaction.
Can someone at Quickbooks please chime in about whether or not the 1% fee with no maximum is going to be rolled out to all customers?
I appreciate you sharing those details about the potential changes to the QuickBooks Payments account structure and fees. Not to worry, Ashley. I'm here to clarify those offerings.
First off, new QuickBooks customers who add Payments on or after September 5, 2023, will have a no-cap ACH plan, while those new customers who add Payments through an Accountant or QSP will have a $10 cap as they're already receiving preferred pricing. Lastly, existing Payments customers who move to the new pricing will keep ACH with a cap.
Moreover, I encourage you to reach out to our payments support. They can also provide you with the most up-to-date and authoritative details on the current Payments account policies, fee structures, and any plans for the wider rollout of new pricing models.

Thank you for your response, but that does not actually answer my question. I understand that the fee is 1%, but currently there is a $15 fee maximum/cap for Quickbooks Payments users who signed up before September 2023. My question is: will that $15 cap remain, or will Quickbooks Payments remove the $15 cap from all accounts?
The cap of $15 will remain intact for processing fees with QuickBooks Payments, Ashley. Let me share some details on this matter.
Please note that QuickBooks Payments will continue to charge a processing fee of $15 for each transaction. This fee will remain unchanged as long as there are no updates from QuickBooks.
