The ACH payment option does not appear when clients open the payment link to our invoices. The settings are clearly set properly.

Ach payment option missing

Congratulations on making your first post here, @probolskyceo. I’ll help you get this issue sorted out so you can accept ACH payment from your customer.

May I know what Setting you’re referring to? Is it adding the ACH from the Payment Method under the All lists from the Setting? If so, I’ll provide further troubleshooting steps to help you get back to business.

After that, we can process a bank transfer payment for an invoice. Kindly follow the steps below to create a new payment method where we can enter the customer's bank information.

  1. Go to the +New and select Receive Payment or Sales Receipt.
  2. Choose your customer from the Customer▼ dropdown menu.
  3. From the Payment method▼ dropdown menu, select Check or QuickBooks Payment - Bank.
  4. Select Enter Bank info.
  5. Add your customer’s Account NumberAccount TypeRouting Number, and Name.
  6. Select Use this account information in the future.

See this article and proceed to Step 3 – Step 4 to process an ACH bank transfer from a customer: Get authorization and process the payment. From there, you can also set up recurring sales receipt.

If you want to check your bank account information for ACH, you may can go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings. From there, click the Payments tab.

Here’s a reference which contains the entire process of ACH bank transfer in QuickBooks Online: Process ACH bank transfers right in QuickBooks.

Reach out to me anytime if you have other questions. I'll be around to help. Thanks for joining us and have a great day.

Ach payment option missing

This is comprehensive but not helpful.

I have all the settings right. But when you view, download, look at, or otherwise try to pay an invoice, there is no pay by ACH option that appears for customers. It. Does. Not. Exist.

I just want it to be there, so they can pay by ACH. When I spoke with tech support they said it was a known issue but they wanted me to do there job and spend hours with them. They just need to fix it.
