Class Action Lawsuit against Intuit. I am currently collecting names and business to file a class action lawsuit. Email me.

My $20,000 in deposits are being held and have not been released.  I now understand after reading the same story over and over, that this has happened repeatedly to others and Intuit  has no intention of releasing my deposits quickly.  It has damaged my business.

I am collecting customers and stories to file a class action lawsuit against Intuit.

I am encouraging anyone who has had Quicken hold deposits to send me an email at [removed].  I am current compiling facts and customers to file a class action lawsuit against Intuit.  This must stop.

I will be posting and reposting this on all social media.

Hello there, BV3345.

It's disheartening to hear that your deposits haven't shown up in your bank account. I recognize the inconvenience this may have caused. Let me provide some details as to why it is on hold.

Funds usually arrive in your deposit account within 5-7 business days, although this timeframe may vary based on the following factors:

  • Time of the day you enter transactions.
  • Weekends and bank holidays.
  • The financial institution you choose your transactions to be deposited to.
  • How long does it take for your bank to verify and process electronic deposits?

The cut-off time for deposits is 3 pm PT, and payments processed beyond that go into the next day's deposit. Therefore, transactions that were processed via Payments are being batched daily and funded on a particular number of days.

In addition, the deposit speed also relies on the product and the payment type you're using. If you're a new user, we'll deposit your first set of payments within five business days. Once the deposit is successful, it should show as Funded in the Status column.

To know your deposit speed, please follow the steps below:

  1. Proceed to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings.
  2. Click the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

If you don't receive an email within two business days, please contact our Customer Support Team  so they can access your account and help investigate further.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  6. Choose Get a Callback.

@Maybelle_S   Trying to sugarcoat it REALLY doesn't help AT ALL!!  The fact that the company is CONSTANTLY holding money for MONTHS on end proves that there needs to be a lawsuit.

@BV3345   Still can't see the email.  As I said before, they (QB) will just keep removing it.  Find a different way to post it. Beat the system.

Hi I would like some additional information on how to reach you. Quickbooks has been holding my funds for going on 3 weeks now and I have had it. I’ve missed my mortgage payment, haven’t been able to pay my employees, I have had enough.

They have ruined my company, my bills cant be paid. I am not sure what else to do. Please if anyone is actually filing a lawsuit reach out to me.

This is very important. You can't get through to anyone. Its always, theyll give you a call or send you an email in 2-3 business days. However, that never comes. I know other companies that they(QB) have done this too as well. This is becoming ridiculous at this point. I came to look for a class action suit because I KNEW that we couldn't be the only companies. I'm IN!

Let's make sure we'll be able to keep track of the withheld funds and solve your issue, Ashanti.

We review your payments to make sure everything is right. Those payments that take longer than the usual process are those funds that may be on hold. With that, I recommend reaching out to our support team to find out what causes the hold. Normally, you'll get an email at the email address you used to sign in to the Merchant Service Center once your funds are on hold.

To reach out to our support team, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click the Help button at the top right corner.
  3. Go to the Search tab, then select Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief discussion of your concern, then click Continue.
  5. Choose to Have us call you to connect with us.

Furthermore, learn how you can view and download processing statements in the Merchant Services Center. I've added this article for more details: View And Download Statements In The Merchant Service Center.

Let us know if you have any other questions about your deposits or anything about withheld funds. The Community is always open to help you and cover all your needs.

We are at the point of filing suit against QuickBooks as well. We have tried for 2 and a half YEARS to change our business phone number, we have provided our identification materials, selfies, made calls, chats, etc. to get this d*** number changed and they still haven't approved it. The phone number is the key to changing the bank account information, and we had to close a bank account a few months ago. We have a QuickBooks checking account as well, but the last large payment we received from a client is now sitting on hold in the merchant center and they refuse to deposit it into our QB checking account since our other bank account is closed. It has been well over 2 weeks, multiple calls, multiple ID docs sent in, etc. and nothing. They say the instructions to release the funds is in our email, but we never received an email. Every time we call they say if they open the case, it will delete the previous case number, not add on to the current case. The Resolution Center shows NO active cases, even though we have been submitting cases for over 2 years with NO RESOLVE.

We are unable to pay our contractor for the job he worked on, we missed our rent payment, etc.

2 and a half years to change a phone number is now preventing us from changing our bank account associated with the QBO account, and now they are withholding our funds. Again! Sign us up for your lawsuit. It is unlawful to withhold funds earned without cause. We are a very small business, and large commercial jobs are important. We can't invoice ANYONE until they sort it out, and we have heard nothing! This will be going on 3 months we haven't been able to collect electronic payments from clients because of QuickBooks' failure. We are going into our slow season unable to bill clients, which will make our slow season nearly fruitless.

I'd join for other reasons.... We hired their live book keeping clean up at the end of 2021. It was march before they finished, but they only finished to Nov. 2021 saying that's when I signed up for the service. A service they claimed would take one month. Then they had moved everything around so crazily and over inflated our sales by logging it in double entries, Our taxes were totally screw because we had to have all our books, P&L and Balance sheets turned in, with the over inflated sales. Then hire someone else to re-do our books, pay extra to refile, thousands of $$$ later, we are still paying back taxes for a year that we didn't actually need to pay taxes for. Going broke waiting on the iRS to update us in their system, which we are told could take over 20 weeks.

I have 0 payment issues, been with qb for over 3 years, abs they are with holding just shy of 59k and cannot give me a good reason.  They just saying it's in review.  If they did this to 5000 customers then that would be a $59,000.00 x 1,000 interest free  loan for them. Interest saved on $250,000,000.00 is allot of money. If this is why they are doing this it is so unetthical... they are grossly, negligent, and wrongfully taking other people's money..

That’s probably exactly why!

I had a bunch of those little fees hit my account after I had already withdrawn my funds. So what they failed to do is show any sort of negative balance they just send you emails days later. At which point I have more funds in my account so I think it’s been resolved. Then all of a sudden they just freeze my account. Don’t process any of my payments and hang onto my money. And then when you try to call them to settle it, they tell you have to wait for collections to respond to you in five business days. All the while continuously charging you more of their overdraft fees. It’s completely unethical and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam and illegal. This class action lawsuit needs to happen.

Please message me as well. I have been having issues with them for over a year. They can't fix my sales tax issue where I see, "The agency is partially set up. (code: "INDIRECTTAX-10393")." I have tried everything they suggested, but it still doesn't work. I have also spoken to several "techs" and filed these issues but nothing has been fixed. Also, there is an issue with adding contractors to QuickBooks. Every time you add the bank information and hit enter, it will take you back to the main screen, and it would have me do it all over again. I paid over $75 to use this, and it never worked. I am switching to Xero but I would like to be a part of the lawsuit since I have not been able to get my tax records for over a year now.
