If you had read through this thread at all, even just skimming thorough it, you would have seen where there is a link to click that will take you to a FB page with information for an attorney that is wanting to help with a lawsuit. It's posted multiple times throughout. (Just FYI, it's not me that created this fb page. I'm just posting it for y'all that won't look through the post to find it yourselves)

Intuit has agaun and agian added fees to my account that i did not agree to. I had a quickbooks account the just added a pay roll fee. I spoke to them in october was suppose to give back money still doing it in febuary than they only can return 1 month. I have just recently had this happen to me as well. I opened a QB checking account to take advantage of their envelope promotion. I transferred 10k of my personal funds into the account. I am a brand new business. After a couple of days of the acct being open, QB decided to close my merchant acct, citing no reason for doing so. My 10k transfer was still showing up as pending. I called QB and they confirmed my money would be transferred back to my personal bank the next day. Instead of the money going back to my personal acct, it went into the checking acct that is on hold! I can do absolutely nothing with this acct. I have called numerous times to get my money back (16+ hours) on the phone with them. Worst customer service and worst experience of my life. No one wants to help, no one wants to take responsibility, they send you from person to person, you are on hold for HOURS. Last guy I talked to, Andrew, told me there was absolutely nothing I could do...to stop calling and that they could hold my money indefinitely. Not sure if my business will even be able to launch now because of this. This is a scam they are running, it should be illegal, and they need to be sued. Don't fall into the trap. I am happy to help anyway I can with a law suite and tell my story.
I would like to join the lawsuit. Quickbooks has failed to pay federal and state tax obligations ever though they have debited my account. I was sent delinquent notices and had to pay them directly, effect my paying the same liability twice. Getting QB to recognize their error has been impossible. I am at my wit’s end.

This POS company just deleted 14 years of my account. It says it can't find anyone with my account log-in, after having just charged me $60 for my monthly subscription, and while showing the last date that I logged into said account, which was recently. I'm in. Add me to your class action.

My problem is not exactly like yours, but almost as bad. I quickbooks desktop in January of 2024. It is almost four months and the program has been unusable for me. Every time I complained they would suggest a new product to purchase or an upgrade. The program I am now on the online version with upgrades on payroll, bookkeeping and bookkeeping. I have the Enterprise 2024 Advanced version of QB. I cannot pay my bills or taxes. I have paid about 4,500.00 in penalties from IRS because QB didn't send out my taxes as agreed.
This is KILLING MY BUSINESS!! I can not even get a refund of my money. I have paid thousands to them.
How can we spread the word?
If you are going to hold money for that long then you should not send out emails saying the deposit will be in your account within 1-2 business days. I have had quickbooks for almost 30 years and never had a problem until recently. You are holding $76,000 and I have been told there is no problem with the deposit. Yet a week a half later I still don't have my money. The client that paid that is threatening to get an attorney. Real good for business! I spoke to our bank owner and was told that this is happening repeatedly now with Quickbook deposits. I spoke to Quickbooks last week. They said Friday. Spoke to them yesterday and they said today by 4. No money still! I have been on hold for 90 minutes and can not get any management on the phone. We have lost an employee possibly a client and are threatening a lawsuit. No one cares at Quickbooks and I still do not have our money!
Please include me in this. I was assured by the QuickBooks team that I was cleared to deliver my product, even though my $2,900 was on hold. They then closed my account the next day with no explanation, but still assured me that I was protected and would be receiving my money. I never would have done the transaction otherwise. I have been contacting Quickbooks since January 3rd with the assumption that I would be helped, and now I have been on the phone for an hour (currently on hold to speak to someone higher) and the only solution I've been given is to contact the customer and have them send the transaction again, which is impossible at this point. Let me know how I can connect.

They need to be sued again for false advertising. The urgent messages that QB will not work after 5/31/24 is a LIE and is emotional terrorism to drive everyone to their crappy crappy crappy online version. They did the exact same thing some months ago, which freaked out all my clients. That too was a lie.

I own a furniture store. QB allowed AMEX to process a $10,600 chargeback from clients that stated the items were; returned, defective, damaged. Spoiler Alert - they still have everything. AMEX gives their clients 120 days to file. This was processed less than a week from the deadline. QB did not look into my side of things.
For reference - clients received their items December 20th. They emailed on the 26th stating the items got stained so we must’ve sold them defective products. I’ve spent $15k in legal fees already and cannot get QB or AMEX to listen to me.
Id like to be included in this lawsuit. Quickbooks collects their money but is not on the side of their merchants

Count me in, they steal your money if you use their bill payment to pay a vendor. If that vendor doesn't receive the check you are SOL and just have to pay the vendor again. This is according to a rep that I have been on the phone with for the past 40 minutes. They take your money immediately, "deliver" the payment 14 days later and if the vendor doesn't get the check too bad!

I have been with quickbooks desktop for years and in 2019 the fee double lock me out all my payroll files which I believe I own ! So I bought the new program and after 300 for it I still had to pay for a year fee , ( NOT RIGHT )
so in 2022 moved over to quickbooks Online what a joke and guess what fees have double this year from 46.00 month to 88.00 a month so I contacted them and there told me if I cancel 1 subscription I will be locked out of my payroll core subscription what a bunch of crap !

Yes I am wanting a class action lawsuit against Quickbooks Intuit. It has combined scams and phishing with the business model for service. Check into who is selling all the shares and not buying and you may find the people at the top are running the company eventually into the ground. Customer support transfers and transfers you so your head is spinning and then you are paying for services that mean nothing and unfortunately your bank business credit card customer service takes care of the problem for you.

Had this problem a couple years ago and created a how-to process to work around it and many have used it since, liking the comment. UPDATE: We recently had a customer dispute a charge that they paid with their credit card online. We did not "accept" the dispute and proceeded to attach documents requested by QB to via their online link. They said it would take up to 52 days to resolve, so we left it alone went about our business. About two weeks after that QB stopped depositing into our bank the payments other customers began making via the QB emailed invoice. It took 90 min. or so through the QB chat to discover that they had a glitch in their system, they were wanting more documents from me regarding the dispute and they are holding the $19,840.00 that my other customers have paid online. They now say it will take 2-3 days to "escalate" the case. I have no idea at all what that means! They never warned me about this. I will be looking to find a different merchant to use to enable online payments to my customers and I will simply attach a pdf of their invoice. QB system doesn't work right anyway so I have to manually enter the payments. Will be finding a more reputable online merchant company.
