Credit Card transactions

I entered credit card transactions in QBD but realized the dates (date, month and year) were inputted incorrectly. Please I would like to know how to correct the error. I tried making the correction from the register and the credit card purchase doc but I am met with a road block.

I would love to your input as we approach year end. Thank you

I've got some info to help fix incorrectly inputted dates on credit card transactions, @GIE.

In QuickBooks Desktop, it's right to make the credit card corrections from the register. Simply click the date of the transaction and modify it accordingly.

May I ask if you received an error message when editing the date? I appreciate any extra information you can give, and it will help us isolate the issue and provide the best solution.

If you ever need to enter transactions in batches, you can utilize this article for more information: Record transactions by batch.

Fill me in if you have other questions about changing your credit card transactions in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to help you. Stay safe!

Good afternoon, @GIE

Thanks for coming back and letting us know that you received an error message.

If you're the admin of this account, then I suggest try running as admin on the product. Here's how:

  1. Locate the QuickBooks Desktop icon on your desktop.
  2. Right-click on it and hit Run as administrator

It's that easy!

If you're not the admin of the account, then I recommend speaking with them about granting you permission to do these actions.

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach back out if you need us. Have a splendid day!
