Hello there, JRConstruction.
Thanks for choosing QuickBooks to cater to your business needs. I'm here to clarify a few things about how payment deposits work in QuickBooks.
If it's your first time processing a payment, please know that we'll typically deposit the funds within 5 business days. The lead time may take longer since we're still setting up your account. Rest assured, we will deposit the payments much faster once the process is completed, typically within two business days.
If it's not your first time and you process customer payments before 3 PM PT, we'll deposit them in your bank account the next business day. Otherwise, we'll deposit payments in two business days if you process payments after 3 PM PT. You can follow these steps to check the status of processed payments from QBO:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
- Go to Sales and select Deposits.
- Select the bank deposit you want to review.
Or, go to the Merchant Service Center to review the payments:
- Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
- From the homepage, select Activities & Reports and then Deposits.
- Select the date range in the Dates field.
- Click Search.
Also, Saturday isn't considered a business day. Thus, if your deposits do not go through tomorrow, they will probably be deposited on other business days.
