By default QB Desktop is running in the LAN environment. You may deploy a private cloud on your premise and access your data file on your iOS or Android device.
Can you explain this process further?
they use to many years ago.....why they got rid of it i will never know....
use to be able to pull customer info and see there balance...
If it’s not compatible than why is the app called QuickBooks Desktop?
I can clear things out for you to ease your confusion with the QuickBooks app, @mind_fluzxx.
Each version of QuickBooks is designed to address specific business needs. Due to the system requirements needed to run the program, QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) itself can't be installed on the phone.
On the other hand, the mobile app is only available using our web-based product, the QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. With this, you can access your company anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection.
