Email about confirming Intuit ID

Received an email about confirming my Intuit ID to avoid payments disruption.  It said I would see a guide to help.  I haven't seen it yet.  It's supposed to be confirmed by 2/15/19

Is this a real deal or a hoax?

Email about confirming Intuit ID

Hi there, bdtaylor88.

There's a new authentication system that will require every QuickBooks Desktop Payments user to have their own user credentials to be used in QuickBooks for processing payments. To learn more about this new system, please open this Help article: Create And Manage Your Payments User ID.

Other legit account notifications from Intuit or QuickBooks Payments/Merchant Services can come from these email addresses:

  • Payments@intuit.com
  • PSD_iCareTeam@intuit.com
  • BusinessServices@intuit.com
  • notification@email.merchancenter.intuit.com
  • paymentnotification@email.paymentsolutions.intuit.com
  • intuit@eq.intuit.com

If the email you received looks suspicious or not related to QuickBooks Payments/Merchant Services, please check out this article for more details: Is This Email I Received A Legitimate Communication From Intuit?.
