fix payment deposit in QB desktop to match my bank statement

HELP! I need to move a payment from a deposit in order to reconcile my account in QB desktop. The QB desktop help only tells you how to do it in QB online.

Assuming you meant remove a payment from a deposit, open the deposit and delete the payment line and then save the deposit.

To delete the payment line, select it and then choose Edit | Delete Line from the QB menu.

OK, then how do I move the payment I deleted to another deposit.

After removing it from the wrong deposit, edit the deposit where it should be and add it by clicking the Payments button at the top of the deposit form and then selecting it.
