Having your clients pay credit card fees or automatically add processing fees to an invoice is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Yesen. I've got alternative steps to ensure you can still achieve your goal in QuickBooks Online.
You can create a service item called Credit Card Processing Fee. This allows you to manually add it to your invoice, enabling your customer to include it in their payment alongside the other items.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon, then choose Product & services.
- Click on the New button, then select Service.

- Enter the name of your service item. (Example CC Fee)
- Select the account you'd use to track the processing fees.
- Once done, click Save and close.
Once done, add the credit card fee as an additional item on your invoice when charging your customers with the processing fee.
