How to set up a recurring payment to a vendor's bill in QBO?

Hi there, @Chrissy3

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'll be here to help you sort this out. It's super easy and quick. You'll just have to create a new bill or open the existing one. I'll show you how:

  1. Create a new bill or open the existing one.
  2. At the bottom of the bill, select Make recurring. QuickBooks Online creates a copy of the bill and adds a "Recurring Bill" section so you can set the recurring bill's preferences.
  3. Fill out all the information needed.
  4. Once done click Save template

Once finished, QuickBooks will remind you about it at certain intervals.

How to set up a recurring payment to a vendor's bill in QBO?

You misread my question. It's not to set up a recurring bill.

It's for a recurring PAYMENT of a bill.

Thanks for your prompt response, @Chrissy3.

Currently, the recurring payments feature is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you can associate it with other applications such as bill.com to set up scheduled payments for bills.

You may reach out to their Support Team to sign up for the Auto Pay feature.

See the Contact section of this resource to get their contact information: Contact Bill.com.

You can also check other billing applications that will enable you to make a recurring payment for bills. Just go to the App menu and then search for billing apps of your choice.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Apps on the left pane.
  2. Click Browse category selection.
  3. Choose Make Payments.

Also, I'll be adding this page as your reference in enhancing your QuickBooks Online experience: Video Tutorials for QuickBooks Online.

@Chrissy3

Another option, you may utilize MP to pay your bills. If it's a recurring bill, choose a payment frequency (monthly or weekly), the number of payments and the day you'd like payments to go out.
