Hello there, Yokoyama. I know how inconvenient this is. I'm here to ensure your AMEX credit card is connected accurately with your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.
Before anything else, I'd like to ask what the specific error you've encountered on your screen is. I would highly value you giving more details so we can provide an accurate response, such as a screenshot is very much appreciated.

Also, I suggest reaching out to your financial institution to check if there's ongoing maintenance on their end or server issues stopping the online bank connection to QuickBooks.
In addition, you can visit this article if you want to manually add transactions: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I'll be right here if you need help with anything else or with credit card connections in QBSE. Don't hesitate to reply in the comment section. Take care.
