I received a credit card payment on Friday morning. How long before it posts to my account.

Posting of customer payments depends on the product you're using and the type of payment, Brianazh. I'll provide more details about this process below.

If you're new to QuickBooks Payments, the first batch of deposits will be processed within 5 business days. It will take a bit longer while we set up your account. Once everything is configured, funds are deposited much quicker.

Moreover, for next-day deposits in QuickBooks Online (QBO), credit card payments are deposited the following day. Transactions completed before 3 PM PT will be reflected in your bank account on the next workday. However, any payments processed after this time will take two business days. 

If you process payments through QBO, you may track and monitor their status directly within the platform. For all other products, go to the Merchant Service Center. 

For QBO:

1. Sign in to QBO.
2. Go to Sales and click Deposits.
   
   
   
   
3. Choose the bank deposit you want to review.
   
   

If there's an issue with a payment, it won't show up in a daily deposit. However, you'll receive a message from Intuit regarding this. Successful deposits show Funded in the Status column. Otherwise, you'll see Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned. In such cases, you'll receive an email with steps to fix the issue.

If you've checked the payment status and we've deposited the payments, your money is on its way. Please note that some banks hold onto funds for further checking or verification after we deposit them. At this point, you'll need to contact your financial institution for assistance and to know the reason for the delay.
