Buy nowWith this newest update, whenever I enter in a payment method that's not cash, I get this pain in the rear "Enter credit card details" and an automatically checked "process credit card" checkbox. How can I get rid of this completely? It's just another useless step in my workflow. It needs to go back to the way it was.
We understand your need to permanently shut off the checkbox for processing credit cards using a payment method other than cash, Gpete95.
This option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, as a workaround, we can manually untick the box every time we receive an invoice payment.

QuickBooks Online gets worse and worse with each update. I wonder how long paying customers will continue to suffer - and continue paying?
I agree. I am so frustrated; I've been using QB since 2009 and this just gets worse and worse. Unfortunately, I'm really intimidated about finding another accounting system and transferring my entire business to a new thing so I feel "stuck" with QB.
That's no "solution." The solution would be to go back to how the system worked last week before this garbage update. Additionally, why couldn't I create a new invoice without choosing an option that would give intuit more fees for "processing payments" for me? I don't WANT you to process ANYthing for me. This is exactly the reason why I won't link my bank accounts. I don't trust your company to not take any surprise "fees" out of my account.
The way I see it, you just started charging me a larger monthly fee and I get nothing of value in return. In fact, I get more hassles. Not happy.
SO frustrating. I need to start looking for an alternative to QB. Unfortunately I fear that there's nothing out there that's going to be any better.
and it looks like my angry reply to Lyn_D showed up as reply to you. No offense meant there!
