Is there a max dollar amount for credit card processing fees?

I am checking to see if there is a max dollar not percentage amount that would be charged to the client in terms of their credit card being swiped.  I can swipe it for 2.4% +.25 but on larger purchase (i.e $100,000) is it a standard max fee vs. the percentage that is $2,400?

Is there a max dollar amount for credit card processing fees?

Hi, Dimon4U. Allow me to share some information regarding the maximum amount for credit card fees in QuickBooks Online.

Some QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payments users have a limit on how much they can get paid for ACH and credit card transactions in a 30-day rolling period.

Once you reach the processing limit, you'll only be able to get paid with cash or checks until it opens up again as time goes by.

For more details, I recommend contacting our Merchant Services Support Team. They'll be able to look further into your account and discuss the maximum dollar amount. To get in touch with them, click this link and pick the product you're using.

I'm leaving some recommended pointers to learn more about different types of charges as well as things to remember when processing credit cards:

If there's anything else you need, please let me know. I'll be standing by to provide additional assistance. Have a good one.
